ISRAEL OLANIYAN

Israel serves as the Technical Assistant on Research, Policy, and Strategy at the Office of the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, where he plays a pivotal role in reshaping Nigeria's foreign policy. He works closely with the Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on International Cooperation where he provides strategic advice to enhance the nation's international standing.

With a background in law and over six years in strategy consulting and international development, Israel has distinguished himself as a leader capable of steering teams and spearheading strategic projects. His efforts have been instrumental in managing initiatives funded by prestigious donors such as GAVI, USCDC, USAID, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, covering health, education, and climate change, and overseeing budgets surpassing $7M. Israel's expertise spans strategic planning, business development, and policy formulation, particularly in systems strengthening. He has effectively supported development partners and government entities at various levels driving data-driven and results-oriented systems.
